Dear Randolph Academy School Community:
The Randolph Academy School Board of Education is in the process to fill our vacancy for Superintendent of Schools, created by Mrs. DeCarlo’s pending retirement this June. Our Board has engaged Cattaraugus-Allegany BOCES District Superintendent Scott Payne to serve as a search consultant as we seek experienced candidates for this role.
The Board is reviewing applications and will conduct preliminary interviews during the week of April 19. Finalist interviews will take place during the week of May 10, and the Board expects to appoint a new superintendent on or about June 1. The new superintendent will assume his or her duties on or about July 1.
We would like you to complete a stakeholder survey and provide additional input for our Superintendent search. You may access the link here: RA Community Survey
If you are unable to access the link, please call 716-376-8225 to receive a paper copy of the survey. It will be available until April 16. In addition to this input, the Board will also be creating stakeholder interview teams to assist with the interview process. Information about this opportunity will be available soon. These teams will be involved in the final interview stage and are required to attend a pre-interview training as well as all final interview dates.
In the near future we’ll share updates on this process — and we look forward to your input!
