NPR Affiliate Features Randolph Academy in “School-to-Prison Pipeline” Series

NPR news report focuses on Randolph Academy’s Restorative Justice program.

Western New York’s National Public Radio (NPR) affiliate, WBFO-FM, recently featured the Randolph Academy in a news report. We were the main focus of its final segment of a four-part series that studied possible solutions to curtail what is commonly referred to as the “School-to-Prison Pipeline.” This issue is prevalent among low-income school districts, particularly those with high percentages of children of color. The story by WBFO Contributor Brigid Jaipaul Valenza, who visited our Hamburg campus, focused on our Restorative Justice practices and how they can help stem this growing area of concern.
